Why Annual Updates?
Just like getting your annual physical check-up, the space of your home or business also needs to be assessed annually for magnetic Earth changes as they occur according to the solar calendar.

Because Feng Shui energies shift yearly, it’s important to identify where the positive and negative energies have relocated and then take the necessary precautions as each year begins. These recommendations are often easy to implement and once set do not require additional adjustments.
For those considering renovations or garden landscape work, this update becomes even more critical. Since the practice of Feng Shui looks at both space and time as an aggregate system, you will learn “where and when” to do or not to do certain activities inside and outside your home and office. When you disturb a built environment or the land at inappropriate times and places, you can expose yourself to unnecessary risks and challenges.
When and Where
According to Flying Star Feng Shui and the Solar Calendar, the year begins February 4th or 5th each annual cycle. The quality and location of each of the 9 overriding influences determines the necessary adjustments needed. Using a compass and the current year, we identify where each of these 9 magnetic energies reside – the central palace called the Tai Chi and the eight compass directions – N, W, E, W, NE, NW, SE and SW. It is within each of these areas that different remedies are placed on an annual basis.
Who Benefits Most
Everyone can benefit from installing yearly remedies and adjustments to their space. However, those who have conducted a complete Feng Shui audit first experience the greatest impact. Why? If the home or office has bad Feng Shui to begin with, an annual remedy will not correct the original problem. With that said, you can still achieve relief by installing annual remedies even if you’ve not had a consultation.

- Accurate floor plan
- Site plan if possible (showing the plot shape & area surrounding building)
- Building facing direction (Taking a Compass Reading)
- Birthday of occupants – include place and hour if possible
