 How to Prepare of the Workshop

It's time to get intimate with your space!  To get the most insight and effective results from this interactive workshop, I suggest you do the following:

As soon as you register, provide me with:

1. Your birth data and that of one other occupant asap (before the workshop date)!   Email the full name, gender and birth data; include place of birth and hour of birth if you have it. 

1. Three (3) copies of an accurate floor plan of your home - to EASILY work with your floor plan,shrink your copies to 8.5" x 11" (a hand drawn version is not good enough ~ take time to find your original and photocopy it!).
2. Site plan ~ more important if you live in a home.  This plan shows the house and the property line.
3. Find out the year your home was built (and month if you can).  Also, jot down the dates of any major renovations.
4. Take an accuate compass measurement of the front (facing direction) of your home.  This is a critical step.  Click here for instructions ~ Taking a Compass Reading   NOTE:  If additional guidance is needed AFTER you have read the directions and have obtained a good compass, please do not hesitate to contact Kelly directly at 305-682-8985 or email Workshops(at)KJFengShui.com.
5. Take pictures and bring them.  You might be surprised what you forget about your space!  Sharing a picture can help you get to an answer much quickly!  Recommended shots are: 
   
   • Exterior of home (all four sides)
   • Interior rooms:  at least one good picture of each
   • Significant pictures and paintings (jot down where they're located in your home)
   • Anything significant to you or something you have a specific question about.
6. Personal items that might be helpful during the day:   
   • Red, blue and black fine point pens or pencils (thicker writing objects may be harder to work with)
   • A regular pencil and eraser
   • Notebook to take notes
   • A sweater or jacket for your temperature comfort
   • Bring your questions ~ just make certain they pertain to our subject!  I will not be able to answer questions about other topics.
